About Me
Jerry Z. Muller is a writer, lecturer and professor emeritus of history. He speaks and publishes about a variety of historical and contemporary subjects, including thinking about capitalism; the uses and misuses of performance metrics; the changing relationship between the family and the market; and nationalism.
He has lectured to governmental, professional, and general audiences in the US, Europe, and Latin America. He’s currently at work on a new book, Passing It On: Thinking Across Generations about Money, Time, and Purpose.
